The Story
of Tinka

To many “Tinkabell” is an unusual choice for restaurant name. Let me put all the curiosity to rest. I named the restaurant after a very special lady who had a heart of gold & whose door was always opened to everyone from all walks of life. Unfortunately she is no longer with us, but her memory lives on. That special lady was my Grandmother, whose nickname was “Tinka”.


The most important meal of the day, we have a selection of freshly made breakfasts, Or fresh fruit pots, perfect with a hot cup of coffee or freshly squeezed Fruit juice on the side. Or enjoy one of our many homemade baked goods while you read the morning paper.


We are open Monday to Saturday for lunch, our menu is diverse & caters for all tastebuds. From our House specialty "Frango Peri-Peri" to our signature "Moza's special" grilled prawns. Our menu is Halaal so no pork products are used, however we do have a fully stocked bar to quench your thirst.

Deli & Coffee Shop

Our Deli section has a variety of Homemade Jams, Chutneys, Chillies, Preserves & more! We also have pre-cooked meals ready in minutes & a mini gift shop for that something special for your loved ones. We also do a variety of quick "Grab n' go" takeaway meals.

  • Tinkabell Giblets

    Chicken giblets, slowly cooked to perfection in Jazzy’s special spice blend,served with bread to mop up that delicious sauce.
  • Tia & Tio Tango

    Avocado stuffed with prawns, dressed with a delicious seafood mayonnaise.
  • Chef's Plate

    Tender cubed beef, marinated in garlic & a blend of cumin, cinnamon & chilli. Grilled with onion, green pepper, mushroom & cashew nuts.
  • Oasis Starter

    Cubed Halloumi cheese, marinated in our spicy chilli blend.

  • Omani Spiced Chicken Kebab

    This is a kebab which is based on my heritage. Minced chicken, seasoned delicately with spices used in Omani, served on a bed of couscous & a hint of yoghurt salsa.

Beef Dishes

  • Arab's Choice

    Succulent beef ribs, which is marinated in a special Tinkabell marinate, then braaied over our charcoal braai, and basted with our homemade BBQ sauce.
  • Tio Manuel Sirloin

    Prime Zimbabwean beef, grilled to perfection & topped with a special sauce (has a light cream base), topped with a fried egg.

Lamb Dishes

  • Ouma's Lamb Curry

    Zimbabwe’s finest lamb is used to create a one of a kind curry, marinated in our special spice rub overnight, then slowly cooked over a charcoal fire with dried fruit to bring all these great flavours together, served with couscous & a beetroot salsa.
  • Arabian Special

    Tender lamb chops done on our charcoal braai, served with good old fashioned french fries, with a mint yoghurt sauce.

    Prawns grilled to perfection, drizzled with a garlic butter sauce.
  • Mohamed's Hake

    Hake fillet coated in a coconut & lime crumb, grilled to perfection, topped with a tomato salsa, placed on a bed of mash.
  • King of the Sea

    Kingklip, grilled to perfection, topped with a lemon-butter sauce, placed on a bed of stirfried veggies.

  • Tinkabell Salad

    Macon, smoked chicken, olives, cranberries, pecans & cheddar cheese. Drizzled with our olive oil dressing.
  • Greko

    Cucumber, olives, tomato, green pepper, onion & feta. Topped with our special mayonnaise dressing.
  • Sea in a bowl

    Prawns, smoked salmon, tuna, onion, olives, peach & pineapple strips & cranberries. Laid on a bed of lettuce, topped with our seafood dressing.

    Veggie patty, placed on a toasted roll, topped with a oregano tomato pesto, served with french fries.
